Come and celebrate the re-surfacing of the Collector Public School tennis court by Dream Courts thanks to the Collector Public School P & C and funding support from Collector Wind Farm (A Ratch Australia Project) Community Fund.
There will be a casual tennis tournament managed by the Collector Tennis Club, a BBQ, raffle and various kids activities including a jumping castle.
$10 for players to register. Anyone from primary school age and up can register to play doubles tennis – either with someone of your choice or else we can line you up with a doubles partner. This is a fun, family oriented event rather than competitive tennis. It is recommended that better players partner up with less experienced players.
There will be prizes for the tennis and raffle with thanks to supporters Some Cafe, Olive View Cafe, Collector Fresh, and Canberra Comedy Festival.
Tennis will kick off at 10am, and we expect the event to run until approximately 3pm.
