The Country Women’s Association was originally formed in 1922 to give a voice to women, especially in country areas. Presently there are many local branches in Australia which have a voice in the nation’s affairs and provide social and educational activities and support within their communities.

Collector CWA,  established in 1930, is a small branch. We meet in the Memorial Hall on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 12 noon (COVID-19 conditions may apply).

New members are very welcome.

Collector Public School is a small country school embracing positive working relationships with students, parents and teachers. We encourage every child to strive and achieve their potential in a caring and supportive environment.

The Collector Red Cross Branch held their inaugural meeting in March, 1931 and has been continuously active since that date. The members support the work of Red Cross nationally and internationally and raise funds by selling handicrafts and other goods at local markets and stalls.

The Collector Rural Fire Brigade (Brennan Street, Collector), holds monthly training sessions on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm. Please drop in for a chat. You’re very welcome.

The Crookwell Mobile Children’s Service is currently operating out of the Collector Primary School Hall while renovations are taking place at the Collector Memorial Hall.​

Gunning District Community Health Service, in partnership with the Collector Community Association and Collector Memorial Hall offer a Community Nursing outreach health service in Collector every second Thursday of the month between 9am and 1pm at the Collector Memorial Hall.
