Collector & District Historical Society

Established in 2010, the Collector and District Historical Association is dedicated to researching, collating and preserving the rich history of the Collector village and surrounding areas. The Association is currently working with other local groups in the development of Collector History Park (Church St) to commemorate the multiple facets of Collector’s history including its indigenous heritage, pioneers and early establishments such as the Reverend Robert Cartwright’s school and parsonage. The Association also supports the annual ANZAC Day dawn service held at Collector’s war memorial.

Under normal circumstances the Association meets bi-monthly at the Bushranger Hotel.
